Meet the Team

We do not employ agency staff and believe that our high level of care comes from knowing our residents, their personal preferences, needs and wishes. This comes from the close relationships that develop between residents and the Care Team and the trust the team earns by spending time and caring for individuals at our homes.
We believe that our staff are our greatest asset. On-going training and development programmes ensure the team is fully trained in all aspects of elderly care, making sure that quality care is provided 24 hours a day by a dedicated team. We encourage and support all our staff to achieve NVQ 3 in care qualification and currently 85% of our staff are trained to this level or above.

"Friendly, caring, skilled professionals, attentive, approachable, caring" -Words our residents use to describe our team

Care Partners

"I think being a Care Partner is much more than planning a care programme for an individual. I often take one of my ladies to the Post Office or for a walk into the town. We talk a lot and laugh a lot too! They are my friends, I hope I am considered a friend to them too."

Every resident has a Care Partner (often referred to as a Key Worker) who is responsible for the health and well-being of the resident. The Care Partner assesses the wishes and needs of the individual and then prepares a full care plan to meet these. This is reviewed on an on-going basis, and formally once a month which means that each resident is involved in making decisions about their home and their care. Families can also be involved in the assessment and planning.
