VISITING SERVICES AND
MEDICAL CARE

There are excellent local services, such as, dentists, opticians and chiropodists. These professionals will visit St Annes or staff can escort residents to their consulting rooms. We receive regular visits from a hairdresser and Chiropodist.

Medical attention continues to be provided by the resident's own G.P, unless they have moved out of their G.P 's area. This service is supported by the Community Nursing Service. G.Ps are called out to the home when there is a need, or on the request of a resident.

Visits are made by local clergy and a Communion service is held monthly in the home. We seek to meet the spiritual needs of individual residents by contacting the church/relevant organisation concerned.
