Accommodation
The Millings retains the timeless character of its 400 year old rectory origin, which combined with the stylishly redesigned interior offers all the modern facilities you would expect from a luxury care home. Boasting 36 private rooms all connected to a central Nurse Call System means that you have peace of mind in knowing that we provide the means for immediate response.
Residents' rooms are all spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All rooms have private ensuite facilities that are tastefully decorated and residents can also enjoy our specialist bathrooms offering the latest designs of assisted baths and walk in showers which promote maximum independence and peace of mind.
All our rooms are fully furnished but many residents choose to bring small pieces of personal furniture with them. We arrange the rooms to suit the residents' wishes and personal preferences, for example with a TV and we will install a telephone if they wish.
Communal Areas
Whilst we strive to offer all our guests luxury independence with their own room, we also encourage a communal environment for our residents to engage with each other and take part in regular activities.
Each home has a wide variety and choice of sitting rooms, lounges and dining areas both inside and outside in the beautiful gardens, giving our residents plenty of space and choice for any activity that they wish to do.
